We appreciate the hard work put in by @casendems & @AssemblyDems to put together a #CABudget that prioritizes protecting California's health. The most egregious cuts that would have ripped care away from immigrants, seniors, and disabled communities are rejected or delayed

(Good morning. I couldn't post yesterday because I was racing against a deadline. This is the June 9 issue of JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association), one of the world's leading general medical journals and often regarded as one of the "Big Five" medical journals in Japan. Mounjaro has been attracting a lot of attention recently, and this issue includes a discussion on the definition of Obesity. There is also an article on Burnout, focusing on parental support for medical trainees. An article on CKM Syndrome examines its association with cancer risk. Finally, under Nutrition, there is a report suggesting that preoperative exercise and nutritional interventions may reduce postoperative complications and shorten hospital stays.)

why should i pay for illegals health care

We shouldn't, and if MALDEF, ACLU hadn't sued to get Prop 187 overturned...(aka anti-CA, anti-US lawfare "racist"), we wouldn't be in this position.

Charging "immigrants" (do you mean 'illegal aliens' who should not be in US?) is disruptive to med services. Yet, Gish et al ignore native-born citizens are charged oppressive premiums (pushed from healthcare!) by likes of Kaiser to offset services to indigent, incl "immigrants".

All means tested, of course. Just claim no income! Work off the books. No deductibles, no copays, no lifetime limits on things lie PT/OT. Dialysis? Free. Sex change? Free. All paid for by the unwashed masses who’ll never get the same.

They (illegal aliens) are working - building homes, cleaning offices, harvesting strawberries - so if they get hurt or sick, then those who employ them should pay. Illegal immigration is corporate welfare.

Charging immigrants on Medi-Cal will “absolutely” push people off healthcare, according to Rachel Linn Gish, the interim deputy director of Health Access California. ⁦@rachelgish⁩ ⁦@healthaccess⁩ why should taxpayers cover illegal immigrants? sfgate.com/politics/article/…
