7/ All this to say, you can’t help but wonder how many potential victims suffered longer or continue to suffer because of that initial insistence by police with a chance to do something about it that this couldn’t possibly be human trafficking

3/ Police mostly pushed back on our findings, telling us that prostitution was occurring, not human trafficking. That’s despite experts such as @RochelleKeyhan and @HelpErase insisting signs of trafficking were here, and the arrests were only helping the traffickers more

This is one of the oldest and dumbest trafficking myths so it makes sense that serial liar @LACoSheriff is saying it. This kind of amped up special enforcement is also how 21 Savage was targeted and arrested when the Super Bowl was in Atlanta.

Oh - my turn! The Super Bowl is a magnet for MONEY poured into “awareness” and police (that generate few, if any, actual cases) instead of the actual needs of victims and vulnerable folks.
