#Peaches On this day in 2011, inside of a plastic bag found in the bramble about a mile east of the Jones Beach Needle, were the extremities of a woman that would subsequently be a match for a torso found in 1997 in Hempstead Lake State Park, and also determined to be the mother of the remains of a #Toddler found miles away near Gilgo Beach. To clarify some false reporting out there, the skull of Peaches has not been recovered, although the FBI’s ViCAP poster implies that, it has been confirmed by the FBI that the skull was not found (facts matter). Despite her linkage to a family in Alabama in 2022, her NamUs page coming down for nearly 7 hours last year, and ambiguous statements from DA Tierney, she remains unnamed to this day. The identity of Peaches is still not publicly known.

#AsianDoe Fourteen years ago today the remains of Asian Doe were found along Ocean Parkway. We do not know how Asian Doe self-identified, so it is proper respect to simply say Asian Doe. This young person is believed to be 17-23 years old, of Southern Chinese descent and stood approximately 5’3”-5’9” inches tall. Although found in 2011, Asian Doe is believed to have been killed “at least 5 years prior”, 2006 or before, from blunt force trauma to the head. UNIDENTIFIED in Michigan An unidentified male was found deceased on Oct. 8, 1988, in Saginaw, MI—believed to have died just hours earlier. He’s estimated to be 16–20 years old, 5'7", 160–170 lbs, with a short-fade hairstyle, thin mustache, keloid scars on his knees and shoulder, and birthmarks on his abdomen. He wore black jeans, a greenish-yellow shirt, Nike Air sneakers, and gold chain necklaces. Investigators believe he may be from the Detroit area. #DixHillsJohnDoe 25 years ago today, the remains of this man were found- he is #Unidentified to this day. Recently, @RayTierneyDA and his #ColdCase team highlighted this Doe: On March 9, 2000, an unidentified homicide victim was found in a wooded area off the Northern State Parkway, east of Wolf Hill Road in the town of Huntington, Suffolk County. The victim was found wearing a khaki colored, short sleeved, v-neck shirt with black trim, a t-shirt with a New Jersey emblem, blue jeans and a blue bathing suit. The victim is believed to be a white male, between 25 and 45 years old, and approximately 5'8" to 6'0" tall. During the examination of the victim's remains, it was determined the victim had poor dental hygiene and was missing several teeth. Accordingly, the depiction of the victim, included herein, display how the victim's teeth likely appeared prior to his murder.
