Player Spotlight Q&A with Cooper Reihl Class of 28 Penn HS Football, 6’1 205 lb DE, 3.85 gpa, 4.68 40-yd dash, Best moment of 2025 season? A moment that stood out to me from last season is a strip sack that I had in the end zone that got my teammate a touchdown. Describe your style of play 1. I would describe my style of play as explosive and fast off the edge. I’m a hustle player and it’s my goal to be part of the tackle every play. Hilite of the 2025 season 2. The highlight of the 2025 season was when my high school (Penn) beat Crown Point, who has ended our season the past 2 years. Favorite opposition stadium? 3. I enjoy playing at St. Joe because their fans bring so much energy and all week long there is hype around the game since both teams are usually top of the conference. Toughest road stadium? 4. The toughest road stadium to play in is Mishawaka because that is a historical rivalry and every person in town shows up for the “backyard brawl.” Best advice you've received and from whom? 5. The best advice I’ve got is from my defensive line coach “Bryan Mattison.” Last year I played with a club cast on my wrist for a majority of the season, so he told me to perfect my chop rip move, which became really dominant. All Star Game? 6. It would be such an honor to play in the North vs. South All-Star game because I know all the men before me to play in the game are some of the hardest workers in the state, and I’d love to be recognized with a group like that. Best thing about Penn HS? 7. The best part of being a student-athlete at my school is the locker room. I have such a tight bond with my teammates and nothing can change our tradition and the way we strive for perfection here at Penn High School. Favorite part of practice? 8. My favorite part of practice is the 2 minute drill when the defense competes against the offense to try and get a stop. During this period, a sack can basically win it for the defense, and both sides of the ball are hustling as much as possible to try and win. Has portal impacted recruiting? 9. The transfer portal has certainly made it harder for high school athletes. It brings in a new set of elite athletes to eyeball rather than just strictly young guys. Favorite sports movie? 10. My favorite movie is “Remember the Titans.” Favorite athlete? 11. If I could sit down with any athlete for an hour I would choose Ray Lewis because his story of how he grew up and became so motivated to be the best is super cool. I also love the resemblance with his number and the amount of cards in a deck, which is how he did push ups everyday.

Thats nature of land issues, not the concept of private builders. Don't confuse there. Nature of land applies to all, even individual house builders. Thats a different topic. There is no issue for any private developer. You have Hilite starting Cyberpark in Kozhikode

Player Spotlite Q&A with Wyatt Thomas-C/O 28' 6’2 | 205 | c/o 2028 starting S/LB/TE | South Putnam HS | GPA 3.4 | 2025 standout moment 1. A moment that stands out to me from last season is beating Riverton Parke in overtime for the sectional championship which led us to the state run. Describe your style of play 2. I would say I have a pretty aggressive style of play thriving on physicality and impactful hits Season hilite 3. The highlight of the season was definitely state between the atmosphere and the support coming from our town and even other towns is an unexplainable feeling. Favorite road place to play 4. Lucas Oil is the obvious answer but Milan was a crazy atmosphere to experience how loud the crowd was and the amount of people packed into that stadium was insane to me. Toughest place to play 5. Riverton Parke was a tough one. The field conditions were not great and we could barely get play calls in from sound of the crowds. Best advice you've received and from whom? 6. The best advice I’ve received at LB is to just go play football. know your assignment and don’t be robotic just go make a play. I got that from my dad. All Star Game? 7. Playing in the North South All-Star game would mean a lot to me. Considering those are the top guys in the state of Indiana, which is a big achievement for anyone. Best thing about SPHS? 8. The best part of being a student athlete at my school is the support from the community. Favorite part of practice? 9. My favorite part of practice is definitely team defense and being able to be coached up in between live plays. Is portal impacting your recruiting? 10. I feel like the transfer portal definitely made recruiting harder for High-school athletes as colleges have to focus on the transfer portal each year instead of recruiting the new class of high schoolers, because if they don’t they’re behind in the game. Favorite sports movie? 11. My favorite sports movie is Remember the Titans. Favorite athlete? 12. If I could sit down with any athlete it would be Luke Kuechly. Just to talk about his knowledge of the game and how he analyzes film See less

A moment from last season that stands out to me is when we beat Martinsville and won back the M. Describe your style of play 2. The best parts of my game is my pre snap reads and my ability to attack the run. Biggest 2025 hilite 3. My highlight of the 2025 season would have to be my forced fumble against Greenwood. Favorite opposition stadium 4. I enjoy playing at Decatur the most with that being a big time rivalry for us the fans always bring the energy. Toughest place to play 5. Again I would probably have to say Decatur since the fans always bring the energy. Best advice and from whom? 6. The best advice I’ve received as a Mike linebacker came from my dad. He said, “to make sure you’re patient to make sure you don’t get lost in the mix of the play.” All Star Game? 7. It would be a huge honor because I have been going to watch it since I was a little kid. Best thing about your school? 8. The best part about being a student athlete at Mooresville High School is wearing your gear to school and talking to your peers about the game. Favorite part of practice? 9. My favorite part about practice is the high intensity and the physicality. Is portal impacting recruiting? 10. Yes, I believe the transfer portal has made it harder on high school players because coaches can just go and get a guy that they know can already play on that level. Favorite sports movie 11. My favorite sports movie is Remember The Titans. Favorite athlete 12. If I could sit down with any athlete for an hour it would be Luke Kuechly because I love how fundamental his game is.

His name is Ranjitsinh Disale. He wanted to be an engineer. When that did not work out, his father suggested he train as a teacher instead. In 2009, he was posted to a government primary school in Paritewadi, a small village in Solapur district, Maharashtra. The school was a crumbling building wedged between two storerooms, one of which had been used as a cattle shed. What he found there troubled him. Girls were being married off young instead of being sent to class. Attendance was poor. The textbooks were written in a language many of the children, who spoke Kannada at home, could not properly read. He decided to fix all of it, starting with the books. He learned the children’s mother tongue and rewrote their textbooks in a language they could actually understand. Then he did something no one in India was doing at the time. He printed unique QR codes inside the textbooks, allowing students with access to a phone to scan a page and instantly access audio poems, video lessons and practice questions. A village school in Solapur had built a digital classroom out of paper and printed squares. The results changed the village. Girls’ attendance reached nearly one hundred percent. Teenage marriages in the area stopped. His QR code idea worked so well that the Maharashtra government adopted it across the state. The following year, the national education body embedded QR codes in textbooks across the country. In 2020, Ranjitsinh Disale won the Global Teacher Prize. He was chosen from more than twelve thousand nominations across roughly one hundred and forty countries and was the only Indian in the top ten. The award carried one million dollars, around seven crore rupees. Then he did something no winner had ever done before. He announced that he would give away half the prize money, dividing it equally among the other nine finalists so that their work could continue as well. He said teachers are the real change makers. He meant all of them, not just himself. A man who became a teacher only because engineering did not work out changed how an entire country learns, and then gave half his fortune to the people he had competed against. Follow for stories India deserves to remember.

Hoosier Prep Gridiron Player Spotlight Q&A with Jaret Laughlin Football recruit QB/DB #14 - C/O 2027 - 6'2 200# - 3.80 GPA - Fremont H.S. - Best HS moment? 1. A moment that stands out to me is our sectional game against Triton. It was the best game my team and I had played all season. Describe your style of play 2. I would describe my style of play as “physical”. I enjoy running the ball hard and using my legs to succeed. 2025 season hilite? 3. The highlight of my 2025 season was winning the David E. Ballinger player of the game award after beating Prairie Heights. I had tons of fun playing in that game and beating one of our school’s rivals. Favorite stadium to play in? 4. My favorite stadium to play in has to be Zollner Stadium. Although it is mainly home to Concordia Lutheran, it is also where Blackhawk Christian plays their home games. The turf there makes me faster and able to cut harder. It is a huge upgrade to my game. Toughest opposition stadium? 5. The hardest place to play is probably Hornet Field in Angola. They’re our county rival and it gets rowdy whenever we play there. There is lots of pressure on us to perform well in that game Best positional advice youve received? 6. The best advice I have ever received about playing quarterback is from my old QB coach, Andrew McCormick. “You’ve gotta remember to take a deep breath before each snap and remember that at the end of the day it’s a fun game that you’ve played since you were a kid.” I still use this advice to this day when I am in a big moment and need to deliver. How would you feel about playing in the all star game? 7. It would be a huge honor to play in the North vs. South all-star game. Representing my team and my school would make me so proud. Best thing about Fremont HS? 8. Being a student-athlete at Fremont, I easily get to play multiple Varsity sports. I have already lettered in 4 different sports and plan on growing that number to 5 next year. Favorite part of practice? 9. My favorite part of practice is probably game sim on Thursdays. We can tweak and correct our plays to be the best they can possibly be on Friday nights so we can execute and win games. Is the portal impacting your recruitment? 10. YES. The transfer portal has made my recruiting process quite harder. While going to these prospect camps, I am having to compete against guys that already have 2-3 years of college experience under their belt. It makes it tough to stand out and get offers. Favorite athlete? 11. I would probably sit down with Andrew Luck. He was my favorite player growing up and I was devastated when he retired. I would want to know his reasoning and insight on why he ended his career the way he did.

Player Spotlite Q&A with Masyn Chalfant Tri HS, Indiana C/O 2027 5’11 220lb RB |40 4.54 Vert 36’ Uncommitted Favorite 2025 moment? A moment from last season that stands out to me is our sectional win over Wes Del. The atmosphere was great, we played great. Describe your style of play My style of play is physical and explosive. I run hard between the tackles look to finish runs, but in the open field I’ll make a guy miss. I’m a guy who can make big plays and also grind for tough yards. 2025 season hilite? The highlight of the season was receiving Junior All State honors and helping lead our team throughout the year. Favorite opponent? I enjoy playing at Knightstown the most. It’s a big rivalry between the two of us. It’s always a packed out game. It’s loud and we aren’t meant to be there no one wants us there. Toughest road stadium? I think a road stadium that’s hard to play in is Hagerstown. It’s away from everything else at their school. It almost feels like you’re in a valley. What is the best advise youve received? The best advice I’ve received is to control what I can control. I can’t control rankings, offers, or opinions, but I can control my work ethic, attitude, and preparation every day. What would it mean to play in the All Star game? It would mean a lot to play in the North vs South all star game. It’s something I’ve thought of since I was young. It’s something we have talked about me getting since I was in youth. We’ve only had 3 guys participate in it I’m looking to be the 4th. Best thing about Tri HS? Best part of being a student athlete at Tri High School is getting to represent my school and community. Not everyone gets the chance to represent their school for 4 years of varsity and it’s something I don’t take for granted. Favorite part of practice? My favorite part of practice is the competition drill period. It’s a great time. I love to compete. It brings out the best in everyone and it’s a great time. Has portal impacted your recruitment? The transfer portal has made it tougher for some high school players. The way I look at it you just have to put your head down and grind even harder to make sure you get that opportunity. Favorite athlete? If I could sit down with any athlete it would be Christian McCaffrey. I’ve always liked the way he prepares and takes care of his body. He’s a complete running back who can do everything on the field…
