Making real tangible change is hard, but it becomes so much easier when we work together as a coalition! We will continue building power from Springfield to Peoria, Metro East to Chicago, and so much more across Illinois. We thank you for the continued support.

Last week, I had the privilege of attending a Westminster Hall Debate on supporting adoptive parents – a cause close to my heart as I was adopted by Penny and Eric in Torbay. It was great to celebrate the incredible work adoptive parents in Torbay are doing for their children.
During the debate, I asked the Minister about the long-term funding of the Adoption Support Fund, which has been vital for families in Torbay. I also highlighted the Home for Good service, which I introduced to Torbay when I was leader of the local authority.
A huge thank you to my Lib Dem colleague, Lisa Smart MP, for raising this issue and calling for financial support for self-employed adoptive parents, who currently miss out on statutory pay – a benefit available to self-employed biological parents and employed adoptive parents. #AdoptionSupport#Torbay#HomeForGood

This wasn't right then, and it isn't right now. Everyone deserves a place to call home.

Hundreds of Londoners are forced to sleep on our city's streets.
It's a desperate situation. And with #CostOfLiving remaining high, the problem will get worse.
Every day, we support Londoners out of #homelessness into somewhere safe, cosy & warm. #HomeForGood#Homelessness
