Since then I only leave my home to go for essential medical appointments, to source rations I can’t grow in my garden, or to protest at #HomelessnessWeek I race home to use the lavatory, too scared now to venture into a public lavatory where there cld be #TERFs.

Also hearing in this #HomelessnessWeek news that many living below the poverty line, dependent on mobile phone for internet and to register their information, are breached bc plans are cut off by phone/internet providers. The companies shld, but don’t assist.

I note you shag our Nat Flag in your bio image, & call potentially homeless people “whining cunts”. There’s nothing in your feed that you do anything to house injured ADF veterans forced into their cars/caravans/4WDs or uninsulated garages? #HomelessnessWeek

Attended a protest today during #HomelessnessWeek I learned many things including: Disabled women ( children) who’ve secured emergency accommodation, are evicted if they do not meet their “Mutual Obligations” of applying for their quota of rentals (none are affordable).

1/2 In the last year, rent has skyrocketed by 15%. Many Victorians are at risk of being evicted from their homes - so it's important to support tenants to understand if their rent increase notice is lawful and to uphold their rights. #HomelessnessWeek #HomelessnessActionNow

To #endhomelessness - it takes a #home. #Homelessness may not be just about #housing - but - #homelessness cannot end without tenured #housing. Too often, we read proposals to prevent pathways in & provide pathways out - offering everything but a home to end it #HomelessnessWeek

This #HomelessnessWeek will be the 10th in a row without federally funded #systemicadvocacy peaks. We know inequity of access to & outcomes from our #housing system exacerbates risk of #homelessness & #demandside cash payments don't supply the secure, low-rent #homes that end it
