Chicken Tip of the Day: Implement a pasture rest and recovery schedule using a rotational grazing system. Regenerative farming emphasizes that dividing your pasture into multiple paddocks and rotating chickens every 5–7 days allows forage to regrow and prevents land degradation. Pair this with a 21–28 day recovery period per section for optimal regrowth. This approach not only maintains healthy forage but also reduces parasite load and supports long-term pasture sustainability. Bonus Insight: Incorporate cover crops like clover or alfalfa during recovery periods to enhance soil fertility and forage quality. #FreeRangeChickens, #PastureRaisedPoultry, #RotationalGrazing, #HomesteadingTips, #ChickenFarming, #SustainableAgriculture, #AdvancedPoultryCare, #SoilHealth, #BackyardChickens, #HappyHens

Jess's Mom Visits⚡ Fencing Upgrades | Waterfalls | New Homestead Name BarndoVilla | Ozark Mountains Wowzers, it's been a minute since our last video... sorry about that! We've been busy visiting with family, showing Jess's mom around, exploring, and upgrading! New name! We've rebranded (again, last time hopefully) to BarndoVilla! Barndo for barndominium and villa... Latin for homestead (ish). We're doing this as there were multiple backroad homestead channels and it was confusing. We'll be making the official announcement in a later video when the website is moved over. In this video we take a look at the new Gallagher S30 Solar Electric Fence Charger amzn.to/4dSzJh5 as well as some Dyvicl Reflective Scare Rods amzn.to/4dLZVu5. This is an excellent example of a mobile chicken coop! They don’t have to be this big either. You can experiment with many different designs but the main thing you want for a “chicken tractor” is to have a mesh/grated floor for the poop to fall through so it can fertilize your garden areas as you move it around. You will also want to make sure it is vented at the top! #homesteadingtips #Chickens #homesteadingmotivation #gardeningtips #bushcraft #beekeeping #farming #gardeningtwitter #foodsupply #homesteading #offgrid #prepping #survivalskills #survivalism #gardeningX #selfsufficiency #permaculture
