🚀 The's a lot of salty debate about
#airdrops & it's important to approach it with clarity. Chasing them blindly isn't a good strategy IMO yet some are so valuable that ignoring them entirely isn't wise either
#NFA. Here's what I do:
1️⃣ Evaluate potential impact on investment diversification
2️⃣ Assess likelihood & potential value of airdrops
3️⃣ Consider yield opportunities like staking
4️⃣ Assess liquidity & my attention/time required
5️⃣ Gauge price potential of the qualifying assets
There are also some things I'm unlikely to do regardless, like becoming a spam factory.
- Assets enabling new creations, like
$ATOM with
#CosmosSDK, often receive airdrops. That's why platforms such as
$TIA,
$DYM,
$SAGA &
$NIM could see airdrops, serving as launchpads.
- First mover
#NFTs in
#Cosmos, like
@badkidsart are starting to be included and that's why I think
@CelestineSloths holders could start getting
@CelestiaOrg-related drops this year.
But here's the deal: I won't be upset if I don't get an
#airdrop. It's part of the calculated risk, i.e.,
#investing.
I'm not new at this and it's not going to bother me if an investment I make is worth nothing. I also haven't lost sleep when something I sold or didn't buy takes up permanent residence on the moon. It doesn't rattle me. I diversify and process results informs my future decisions which are always improving.
