Things I learned this week in amateur radio:
The British love DMR.
No, seriously, they LOVE digital radio. Especially World Wide and Hubnet.
If we got half that traffic on the USA Bridge or North America, we'd be burning up the repeaters and hot spots.

Went to the radio shop for some pl259 plugs, came home with a collinear, coax, 2 sections of mast and a cheap 2/70 mobile rig 😂 now I can get into the hubnet repeater in Sheffield from Scunthorpe

Since I’ve been walking round Chester all day and not been in hardly any of the pubs (reeee), I’ve been monitoring a couple of repeaters with similar footprints. One connected to echolink (Hubnet) and one not. I find I’m starting to have some opinions.
