In the professional world, we often measure leadership by titles, protocols, and the complexity of channels required to reach those at the top. True leadership however, is rarely about the walls built around authority; it is defined by accessibility, humility, and genuine human connection.
We, at Vitasta Blackspine, experienced this firsthand.
We set out to invite Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat ji
@gssjodhpur to an upcoming event very close to our hearts—a Sufi music evening dedicated to celebrating the fond memory of Advaitha.
Typically, reaching out to high-ranking dignitaries involves an arduous process of endless requests, constant persuasion, and layered bureaucratic channels. We braced ourselves for the usual wait.
Instead, what followed was an example of the most benevolent leadership. The process of securing an appointment was incredibly smooth, shattering the stereotype of political aloofness.
Despite a long queue of people waiting to see him for various reasons, he didn't rush a single soul. He met everyone with grace, listened with absolute patience, and responded with genuine warmth and positivity.
At Vitasta Blackspine, we deeply value and celebrate leadership that operates not from a place of transactional power, but as a genuine gift working toward building smoother, selfless relationships and focusing on touching lives meaningfully.
Thank you, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat ji! We are deeply grateful for your time and your inspiring presence.
