Congratulations to the 148 new officers of the Indian Forest Service 2026 batch!! You've cleared one of the toughest examinations in the country, and you've chosen a service that will shape both you and the landscapes you'll work in. The IFS will give you a lot and makes you explore more. Postings in some of the most beautiful parts of India. The chance to work on issues that matter — forests, wildlife, climate, environment, communities and the future. A career where the work itself is meaningful, not just a designation. If you have any questions — about IGNFA, life in the service, what to expect in the first few years, or the realities about the service that no coaching class or YouTube video tells — feel free to DM me. I'm happy to share my views. Best wishes!! Wishing you a meaningful career ahead👍
