Os Lençóis Maranhenses superaram Fernando de Noronha e passaram a ser o principal destino de luxo para os turistas brasileiros de alta renda. A informação foi revelada pelo Anuário de Tendências de Luxo 2025, produzido pela ILTM em parceria com Panrotas e TRVL LAB. A pesquisa, que entrevistou 3.284 pessoas com renda acima de 20 salários mínimos, mostrou que 8,5% dos viajantes de luxo têm os Lençóis Maranhenses como prioridade para a próxima viagem, enquanto 8,1% optam por Fernando de Noronha. Para Simon Mayle, diretor da ILTM Latin America, os Lençóis Maranhenses atendem às expectativas dos viajantes de alta renda, que procuram destinos com belezas naturais, experiências autênticas e exclusivas. “O Maranhão é muito rico tanto em locais paradisíacos fora do comum, quanto em cultura e gastronomia, o que atrai quem busca história, conhecimento, descanso e calor”, destacou. A pesquisa revelou que o turista de luxo brasileiro típico é majoritariamente formado por mulheres, moradores da região Sudeste e com renda mensal superior a R$ 30 mil.
