Kill two birds with one stone ... goes the idiom that is often used to motivate us to accomplish two goals in a single attempt .. or a meaning somewhere around that.
I have come across this idiom more frequently in the business world than elsewhere.
💜 As a heart-centered, empathic, and inclusive entrepreneur and professional my aim is to try and use positive language when it comes to motivating my team or people around me, when we are looking at creating Intention Strategies. 💜
This idiom was mentioned in a recent team meeting and another participant exclaimed, 'I wish we could say that in a much nicer and non-violent way'. No surprise, this team member rescues many animals and we've witnessed them volunteering for human welfare activities every chance they get.
🕊 🕊 I replied, how about
'Feed two birds with one hand!'
and this team member jumped out of their chair screaming happily,
'OMG, yes, let's always say that from now on'. 🕊 🕊
I am not saying I did or said anything outstanding. Instead, I am saying it only takes one voice to seek a positive intention, and others are automatically inspired to build a better intention strategy.
This team member instantly inspired me to think and say something that aligns with all of us as individuals and teams - and something that we are excited to use every chance we get in our business and personal lives.
🎯 So dear Intentional Ones, today's INTENTION Strategy is, that whenever we want to or see an opportunity to accomplish two things with one action, let's use, think and say, 'Feed two birds with one hand!' - because not only is it a nicer thought but really captures the essence of actual intention in much constructive manner than the dated idiom.
Wouldn't you agree?
