Our “ I Can Do Physics!" club has officially launched at @TheValleyBolton this week! Led by five brilliant Y10 Sharples pupils, the club aims to inspire Y1 girls to see physics as creative, exciting, and achievable. This week, pupils built colourful rainbow density towers while exploring the physics that underpins floating and sinking, and had so much fun in the process! The club will continue this half term, with a new strand of physics explored each week. #ICanDoPhysics #SharplesScience #WomenInSTEM #PhysicsForAll #IOPLimitLess

Three weeks into university and the excitement hasn’t faded a bit! Having settled into a 4-year Physics degree at @imperialcollege, it still seems a little surreal that I’m finally here, studying in such an iconic place and having lucked out on the university accommodation lotto (living just around the corner, not only from the University, but also the @sciencemuseum, the @RoyalAlbertHall, the @NHM_London…..) The start of my university career also coincided with the two year anniversary of the launch of The Galileo Interviews and my very first interview with the wonderful Sir Richard Friend. He was incredibly generous with his time and supportive of a nervous sixth former feeling incredibly out of his depth! Time flies, but the insights from that day continue to inspire my journey. Grateful for the roads I've travelled, the people who have supported me and really looking forward to what's up next. @imperialcollege #OurImperial @ImperialPhysics @DeptofPhysics #Physics #TheGalileoInterviews #IOPLimitLess

Absolutely delighted to be learning about forces with the P1/2/3 class @AytonPrimary. Such a privilege to 'do Science' with some of our youngest, young people and a valued opportunity to address some of the clichéd stereotypes in Physics #SBCway #IoPLimitLess
