Uttar Pradesh Industry Connect 2026, held on March 13 in Mumbai, was organized by the Department of Labour & Employment, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with FICCI. The session brought together Hon’ble Minister for Labour & Employment Shri Anil Rajbhar, Principal Secretary Dr. M K Shanmuga Sundaram IAS, Director Smt. Neha Prakash IAS and Additional Director Mr. Pramod Kumar Pundir along with Prominent Industrialists of the country. This landmark session focused on skill development, international mobility, and global employment opportunities for the youth of Uttar Pradesh. Joint Secretary (Overseas Employment) and Protector General of Emigrants, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, Mr. Surinder Bhagat, launched the Safe and Legal Mobility Awareness Outreach Programme at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus, Jalandhar. The programme was organized by the Central Bureau of Communication, Jalandhar, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, in association with the Protectorate of Emigrants, Chandigarh. The initiative aims to raise awareness among the youth of Punjab about safe, legal, and informed overseas employment opportunities, and to discourage irregular migration and fraudulent overseas job offers. An informative pamphlet in Punjabi on legal mobility and the digital campaign hashtag #VideshRozgarSathi were also launched.
