ip -br a # same size as ifconfig
An alias can add color.
A --json makes it very usable for scripting.

During debugging DNS code in Haskell, I found an IPv6 link-local address like fe80:????%en0 in /etc/resolv.conf. IIRC, the "%" notation was originally defined by me about 30 years ago. "network" and "iproute" of Haskell do not support the notation. It's my bad...

ip 命令比 ifconfig 命令还是强大不少，我已经使用 ip 替换 ifconfig 了
ubuntu：apt install -y iproute2
fedora：dnf install -y iproute
If they just left things alone we wouldn't need this guide

Been using limux since 1999, i found it is easier to reinstall net-tools than trivial learning of (new) iproute command

注意到 Fedora 38 上 iproute2 包被分拆成了 iproute 和 iproute-tc 后者只是提供 tc 二进制，这是为了凸显 traffic control settings 的重要性么？

Neviens jaun neatcerās, bet man savulaik vienā kantorī stūrī stāvēja pusizjaukts 286., uz kura no disketes startējās DOS ar iproute, kura rūtēja visu trafiku iekšā un ārā (iekšā, jo bija arī hostings).
