Really like the IceDogs draft. Was getting worried when we took hewitt and merrill in the second but then took absolute bangers in cullen, ross, robert’s, Ali, Kaiser, Deschamp, Tagliarino. The last, Tag, I think has potential to be an NHL draft pick.

Cooper DesChamp is the IceDogs first selection of the 13th Round. Another big goalie at 6’6, DesChamp is a good project in goal not only because of his size and ability but also due to him being from Stoney Creek. Good upside player who could feature into the longterm goal.

The second 12th round selection for the Dogs was Center Quinn Kaiser. One of my sleepers in this draft, Kaiser is a highly skilled center who fell in this draft due to size and being tendered by Madison of the USHL. The IceDogs now have taken both of Madison’s Tenders.

The first of two 12th round selections for the IceDogs was Felix Sapay. The 6’2 Left winger put up 25 points in 32 GNU games and is another power forward who has some speed. Gives us another shot at a power forward for an Icedogs team that needs size.
