Karl Smesko on Angel Reese's consistency on the glass (five consecutive games with double-doubles, eight for the season) and coming up with timely plays to help the
#Dream in clutch situations:
"She had a remarkable game tonight. Get 17 rebounds, I think she's got back-to-back 17 rebound [games]. That hasn't been done by a [Dream] player ever. So, being relentless on the boards, I think she got five offensive rebounds, 17 and 17, something like that. That's just a great game. Then, I really thought down the stretch, she just made some really big plays. We were looking for her to screen and get behind people, and she did it. So, just great effort by her. ... She seems, like down the stretch, she has a tendency just to step up and do what needs to be done."
Reese's five offensive rebounds (12-4 ATL advantage on O-boards) was more than the
#Sky recorded (four O-boards) in the entire game.
