If you're a new and upcoming creator, you've likely had the "post valuable content" advice thrown at you multiple times
I'd be honest, It's a rather vague answer for someone just starting out his creator jouney
Here's 10 key characteristics that put the "value" in content [part 1]
1. Accurate and fact-based information
→ Before you post content, make sure that any relevant data is fully verifiable with onchain data (where relevant)
→ DO NOT be speculative about important information, check through with official sources, reach out to the team if needed.
This is one of the reasons I started learning to use certain tools for onchain data research
2. Educational value
→ If you understand blockchain concepts well, draft content to help others understand too, you could write breakdowns of technical topics, guides and even tutorials
→ Make sure your educational content is clear and accessible to both beginners and expert alike
→ No pressure to sound smart, focus on clarity
This is one I'm actively working towards, the crypto space is already filled with so much big brain jargon terminologies
When you write content, you can help break those down if you understand them
3. Actionable insights
Oh you don't want to know how much contents I've come across that claim to he insightful, but I read to the end and I'm almost more clueless as to what to do than before I came across the post
→ When you write content with the intention of being insightful, make sure your insights are actionable
→ What this means is that you are offering practical advice to your audience along side the insights
→ Try including step by step instructions that people can follow to complete those tasks or act based on your insights
You can even use screen video and show them how to do it (I've been seriously considering this one)
4. Timely and timeless content
→ Say you've already decided what niche you want to write content about, try to ensure you write on updated information/ trends in your niche
→ Stay up to data with what is going on in your niche and share with your audience what you find, share your thoughts too (make it authentic, don't just be an infoboard)
→ You can also share information that would be relevant to anyone curious about your niche in the long run, this is timeless content
So your audience can come back to it even months after you share it
5. Depth and analysis
I know people don't really like long form content (in fact you will likely not see this part unless you read through)
→ But the truth is, some topics require depth to truly cover the scope of what it's really about without missing key details
To help people deal with reading long form, try writing in short chunks that take on each point per line/ paragraph (like I did here, did I do well?)
Well, that's all for now, part 2 later, if I write all of it, it's probably best it's an article, lol.
I really hope you found this useful, let me know what you think about valuable contents
If you're an OG creator, drop something for the new guys, we'd really appreciate
Thanks y'all
