👉 LOLIPOP Project is designing active elements and external cavity lasers (ECLs) on the hybrid TriPleX platform – delivering ultra-narrow linewidth (<10 kHz), wide tunability (up to 60 nm) and operation at 780, 905 and 1064 nm!
At the core of this effort:
✅ GaAs-based multi-quantum well (MQW) structures optimized for high output power (>50 mW)
✅ Flip-chip bonded active elements integrated on TriPleX with precise mechanical alignment
✅ External cavity lasers using high-Q micro-ring resonators (MRRs) and Vernier effect tuning
✅ Phase shifters (PZTs) enabling fast reconfiguration at low power consumption
✅ Three high-performance lasers for SHG (1064 nm), SPDC (780 nm) and LIDAR/photonic neural networks (905 nm)
