Last week was Internet Safety Week in McEgan College 🛜 🔐 💻 📱 The TY Internet Safety Committee, along with Mr. Sheehan, organized a variety of activities to engage students in researching and thinking about staying safe online. This included ✅a QR code scavenger hunt ✅1st year debate on AI ✅poster competition ✅running a social media campaign on Instagram and TikTok Other teachers within the school also got involved, running activities and lessons with their classes with a focus on internet safety. Ms. Creedon ran a coffee morning for parents where Garda Orla Doyle attended to discuss internet safety with the parents in a relaxe environment where they could share tips and tricks ☕️ 📱 An enjoyable and educational week was had by all, so a huge congratulations goes to the TY Internet Safety Committee for putting in so much work to organise this for the school 👏@webwiseireland #internetsafetyweek #community #excellenceineducation #care
