If anyone is legitimately interested in what happened with
@AshesofCreation and Intrepid Studios, I actually posted an inquiry on a thread by
@IntelMMO where someone responded with a list of lawsuits that Intrepid had to deal with, and upon verifying and validating the information shared in that image, which I'll attach to this post, using Grok, I was able to verify the claims listed on that image, which lead to Grok sharing the investors, including an investor named Karen Boreyko who put a lien against Intrepid on January 16th of this year.
It's this investor, and her history (including MANY MLMs and even one that was deemed a "pyramid scheme" by the FTC), which I ALSO look up and share, that ultimately lead to
#Ashesofcreation and
#IntrepidStudios ultimately shutting down. From her investment history, as well as the result of investments she's made, you can more or less get a feel for what these "actions" may be that Steven Sharif felt were important enough to resign in protest over. The only question remains is whether Steven legitimately thought that she'd meet him half way, or if he actually did so knowing they'd never reach a compromise, which I'd argue is pretty important to distinguish blame.
One has to ask, how dire was Intrepid's dire financial situations--like, how bad must it have gotten for Steven Sharif to involve someone fully knowing her history, and was that point--the point where he gave up his full control, legitimately worth it / was their financial situation really THAT bad that this was the only choice--and did he disclose any / all of this to backers, founders, supporters / staff?
This is NOT a witch-hunt on Steven Sharif. I want to be CRYSTAL CLEAR. This is simply me legitimately interested in what actually happened, and as they always say, it's easy to figure that out if you follow the money, which is what I did in coming to these conclusions, but you can see this for yourself and come to your own conclusions.
Regardless, if you want to know, after doing a few back and fourths with Grok this is what I was able to ascertain based on the given information--if you want to see all of it, click on this post:

(I'd highly recommend you check out the linked post and from there you can view the back and fourth between Grok and I where we uncover who's all involved in financing Ashes of Creation / Intrepid.)
(Also, regarding the attached image, in the thread I've linked, I did ask Grok to specifically validate each of the claims listed on that screenshot, so again, I highly recommend clicking the link to the post to learn what was uncovered and ultimately the assertion based on that information, which I even asked Grok if it was fair, and he agreed, it was.)
Again, none of this, suffice it to say, is to say anything negative at all about the hundreds if AMAZING and TALENTED developers, along with supporting staff that were all involved at many levels, who uniformly poured their blood, sweat, and tears into (at least trying to) see this project succeed and fully come to fruition.
