P7 took part in the #mathsweekscot challenges today using their addition, partitioning and multiplication skills to solve the challenges. They then worked on costing their top secret project so they can pitch it to Mr Connick @saintandrewsps@MissFlemingStA@edscot_maths#invnum
During Pj day we carried out a survey to see how many children in our school wore the same PJ’s as p1/2. We used tally marks. We learned to ask questions and analyse or findings. Lilo & Stitch won with 16 children wearing them with Barbie had 1.

As promised, today we took the data we gathered yesterday from our virtual senses walk and turned it in to another new display.
We have now taken this data from list form, to a tally chart and now bar graph! 📊

Primary 3 took their maths learning outdoors for Maths Week Scotland!➕
We estimated how many times we could walk, skip and run round the playground to see if we could do more than the pony in Darroch Park!🐴 #InvNum
2M1 had lovely weather earlier for measuring the pitch. They used various methods for doing this, including trundle wheels, phones and footsteps. Pupils will make a scale drawing of this tomorrow #MathsWeekScot#InvNum
