As I sit at the airport and reflect on my #CiscoLive experience, I can’t help but come back to one word… Energy!!! The energy this week was unlike any other CiscoLive I’ve attended! I met so many new friends and caught up with so many old ones. The pace of innovation in today’s #AI first world, is at a rate that is very difficult to keep up with. In world of AI, humans, and agents, it’s imperative to be able to observe everything. If you can’t see it, you can’t protect it. If you can’t see it, you can’t improve it. Protect yourselves! Sometimes in order to grow, you have to leave certain people behind. Thats ok! What you realize as you grow is that certain people are only meant to be in your life for a specific season or moment. The hardest thing to do is determine which. You have to make sure to take care of yourself first before everyone else. This includes reducing stress, exercise, surrounding yourself with likeminded individuals who are happy to see your success. May is #MentalHealthAwareness month. You will see quite a few posts from me around this topic in the coming month. I know this isn’t technical in nature, but it helps with all aspects of life. That’s a wrap!!! What an amazing week full of learning, friendship and fun!!! The energy was off the charts this year!!! The food btw… 💥 Truly enjoyed the sessions and the World of Solutions!!! Both PACKED! I have never seen so many sessions that packed with standing room only! The AI innovations are incredible! Got to play with the new Cisco Unified Edge Platform, and I verified that it’s only 18” deep! It’s so awesome! Also, the Cisco AI Liquid Cooling System was crazy to see and interact with! They even had IoT driven conveyors with Gibson/Epiphone guitars on it the a robotic arm would pick and tune the strings automatically! Blew my mind! So cool! Thank you to all the attendees who were at my sessions!!! So much happens and it happens so fast. We lost some greats this week with Brad and now, James. Very sad. But what he said resonated with me. Hug the ones you love. Make and take the time. None of the other stuff matters. #InvolveAndEvolve #LoveYourself

As I reflect over the last year of my life, I have learned that I have been through a tremendous amount of loss and suffering. I lost my father 1 year ago today. We are having my father’s funeral tomorrow and laying him to rest with my mother. I lost my 30 year old nephew last month. I was seriously injured in a car accident that has changed my life forever. A lot of things have happened to me but I am still here. By the grace of God, I’m still here! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and my Dad’s too. I get to spend it with him one last time. Find the positives, look for the smiles and the sunsets. Be there for the people you truly care about. Things can change in an instant. I get to do what I love every day and help others. I believe that has helped me find my purpose. And for all the good and the bad, I’m thankful to have this community to lean on. Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless! #InvolveAndEvolve

Never be afraid to be yourself and go after your dreams. Create your own reality by creating your own community of like goal minded individuals who are striving for the same thing. A million people will tell you “You can’t, it’s impossible, you?” Etc etc. I’m still learning myself. But in this part of life, my focus is more around healing. Letting go of things that don’t matter. Forgiving people for various things. Listening with more attention. Being creative with music or construction. Building something really combats self doubt.
