From what I've observed, Republican audiences respond favorably to this line. I wonder why they think Iowa does so poorly on this metric after nearly 10 years of a GOP trifecta.
(I think it's a combination of low wages and culture war policies that turn off young people)

Growing up in Decorah, I got to enjoy the Upper Iowa River, but now Iowans are getting sick from our water.
