《Islands》is a Solana-based on-chain MMO.
Players are dropped into a shared 500×500 ocean world. You buy ocean tiles with USDC and build your own island on them.
You can own and fully customize your island — raise terrain, build houses, lighthouses, natural landscapes, and more. Control a hero character and go on adventures. Gather resources: mine gold, chop trees for wood, kill enemies for meat. Fight, level up, and hire Guardians — AI companions that can battle or heal. And everything — islands, gear, resources, loot — can be traded on a peer-to-peer on-chain marketplace, straight into real USDC.
The game is a top-down multiplayer building, adventure, and combat MMO. Land purchases and market trades all happen directly on the Solana mainnet using USDC — atomic transactions, no SOL gas needed on your end. The gameplay loop: connect a wallet (or play as a guest) → buy land and build your island → gather, fight, and level up → trade and cash out → keep iterating. The economy is entirely player-driven, and island owners can even earn passive income by taking a cut of the resources others gather on their land, plus marketplace trading fees.
The narrative is essentially an on-chain mashup of Minecraft, survival building, and a real-money economy. The key selling point: Fight for it, trade it for real money.
Enemies and Gold Nodes can now drop Weapons ⚔️, Armor , and Shoes. Items come in Common, Rare, Epic, and the extremely rare Mythic rarity, with higher rarities granting better stats. Everything is tradeable on the Marketplace.
Equip gear in the Equipment Panel, gain bonus stats, and visit the Blacksmith to upgrade your items up to 3 but be careful, failed upgrades will destroy the item.
