Grateful Today for my wonderful Osteopathic Manipulation doctor (ahhh!) and that I finally spotted some snowdrops starting to emerge after our frigid winter! JoyinSpring
What are you grateful for today?
Irises are done, and just a few last blossoms on the azalea and Amsonia blue ice, but the tickseed is about to bloom! The garden is transitioning from spring to summer #nature365#JoyinSpring
I found lots of #lawnflowers in my local park for this week's @wildflowerhour challenge, and lots of interesting insects too - all benefitting from #NoMowMay. I enjoyed seeing a bumble bee on alkanet, thick-legged beetle on hawkbit and damselfly on meadow grass. I also spotted red clover, ribwort plantain, forget-me-not and an abundance of lovely daises! #Wildflowerhour#wildflowers#JoyInSpring#TwitterNatureCommunity
It’s porch season! I love sitting here, looking out at the trees and listening to the birdsong, even though everything needs a good scrub once the yellow pine pollen stops! #nature365#JoyinSpring
I didn’t get a lot of outdoor time today so I’m sharing a pic from my son’s & his girlfriend’s epic road trip! They stopped in Shenandoah National Park Saturday and hiked one of our favorite trails, Blackrock Summit - wet, foggy day but still beautiful! #nature365#JoyinSpring
The best views on my trip to the South West coast this week were the ones with wonderful wildflowers! Big clusters of Danish scurvy-grass, seaside fleabane and sea thrift. For the #carrotsandpeas challenge for @wildflowerhour I spotted alexanders with a visiting cardinal beetle and kidney vetch. Heaven, for me, would look just like the South West Coastal Path in spring! #wildflowers@swcoastpath#TwitterNatureCommunity#JoyInSpring#wildflowerhour
