📍 Location: Puchong, Selangor
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Project Engineer to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of steel fabrication and structural engineering.
🔹 THE ROLE
As a Junior Project Engineer, you will support senior engineering staff in the planning, execution, and monitoring of fabrication projects. You will play a vital role in bridging the gap between technical drawings and the workshop floor.
🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✅ Project Support
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules, progress reports, and technical documentation.
✅ Drawing Review
• Support the team in reviewing 3D models and shop drawings for accuracy before they hit the production line.
✅ Material Tracking
• Help monitor inventory levels and assist in the procurement of raw materials and specialized hardware.
✅ Site & Workshop Liaison
• Assist in coordinating activities between the office and the fabrication shop to ensure design specifications are met.
✅ Quality Assistance
• Help perform basic quality checks and ensure that project files and “as-built” documents are kept up to date.
🔹 REQUIREMENTS
🎓 Education
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Welding or Structural Engineering.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
💻 Technical Skills
• Basic proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office for data tracking and reporting.
• Foundational understanding of engineering principles and structural steel.
🤝 Soft Skills
• Strong desire to learn and grow within the steel industry.
• High attention to detail and organized record-keeping.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
