Reported on Telegram: In the Leningrad Region, more than 20 enterprises have gone on a work stoppage or reduced their working week
Dozens of enterprises in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region have reduced their workload or shut down due to financial difficulties, reports "Delovoy Peterburg". In Tikhvin, furniture production at the former IKEA factory, now part of the wood-processing holding "Luzales", has been halted. The company explained the decision by delays in payment for the sold products, which led to a shortage of working capital and the inability to purchase raw materials.
From May 1, a shortened schedule will start operating at the "IZ-KARTEX" mining excavator production in Kolpino: 38% of the staff will be switched to a three-day working week. In total, as of mid-March, eight enterprises in the Leningrad Region have ceased production, and another 16 have reduced their schedules.
