During the session, Shri Sureshkumar T.O., State President, LUB Kerala, submitted a strategic proposal for establishing a **Koushal Vikas Kendra (Skill Development Centre)** at Palakkad. Presenting the proposal before the All India Organising Secretary, he highlighted the strategic importance of Palakkad in view of the Kochi–Bangalore Industrial Corridor (KBIC) and emphasized that such a facility would play a crucial role in developing skilled manpower to support future industrial growth and employment opportunities in the region. Delivering the keynote guidance address, Shri Prakash Chandraji emphasized that the mission of Laghu Udyog Bharati extends far beyond grievance redressal. He stated that the organization must actively work towards promoting trustworthy enterprises and strengthening ethical business practices throughout the country. He urged entrepreneurs to ensure the availability of pure, adulteration-free products and services for consumers and stressed that business growth must be founded on integrity, quality, and social responsibility. Drawing a historical parallel, he observed that many invaders who looted India throughout history failed to improve the long-term welfare of their own people, demonstrating that sustainable prosperity cannot be built through exploitation but only through ethical commerce and productive enterprise. He encouraged members to become ambassadors of honest business practices and contribute to nation-building through responsible entrepreneurship. Shri Prakash Chandraji further elaborated on various measures required to strengthen the organization in Kerala, including membership expansion, leadership development, district-level activity enhancement, and greater engagement with entrepreneurs. He assured the members that the national leadership would provide complete support in escalating local entrepreneurial and MSME-related grievances to the appropriate authorities and would stand firmly behind efforts aimed at resolving issues faced by small and medium enterprises. The meeting was also addressed by Shri Narayanan Pillai K.R., National Working Committee Member; Shri Vinod N.K., Organising Secretary, LUB Kerala and All India Working Committee Member; Shri Vijayaraghavan, All India Vice President; and Shri Sivakumar, Kerala Prabhari and National Working Committee Member. They shared their views on organizational strengthening, membership development, leadership responsibilities, and the future growth of Laghu Udyog Bharati in Kerala. An open interactive session was conducted towards the end of the meeting. During this session, participants from various districts raised and discussed several issues affecting the MSME sector. Various challenges faced by entrepreneurs, industrial units, and small businesses were brought to the attention of the All India Organising Secretary. The members sought guidance and support regarding these matters, and Shri Prakash Chandraji assured them of the organization's continued efforts to address such concerns through appropriate channels. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Smt. Dharmaja Menon, District President, LUB Ernakulam. She expressed gratitude to the national leadership, state office bearers, district representatives, and all participants for their active involvement and valuable contributions to the discussions. The programme culminated with the singing of the National Anthem, marking the successful conclusion of the State Executive and Working Committee Meeting.
