$LKE
I feel your pain; but the simple answer to your question is:
While the recent momentum for
$LKE is encouraging, let's not overlook the elephant in the room: EIA approval for Kachi remains stalled without a viable power solution in place. Power infrastructure - like grid connections, solar, or diesel backups - directly impacts environmental assessments on emissions, land use, water resources, and community effects. Without a confirmed plan (e.g., the 220 kV lines or 25 MW solar hybrid outlined in the DFS), the EIA can't fully evaluate or mitigate these risks, risking rejection under Catamarca regulations and IFC standards.
This has been a critical hurdle since the 2023 DFS, delaying FID and operations. Power must come first for any real green light!
