Honey they are just going on the training they had decades ago, and the current government authorities slamming vaping(for monetary reasons). They are too scared to support anything new, even if it is beneficial to health. Which is really, really scary. God help us.

The last time I saw my primary, she asked if I want help to quit vaping. I said no, because vaping is the only thing that removes the cigarette cravings. I then asked if she wanted some studies on vaping vs cigarettes. She declined, but also respects that it's my body, my choice.

I'm so glad you both stuck with vape. Winning the battle. What gets me is the lack of continuation for learning from Dr's. The refusal of thought they could be wrong about something is rampant in the medical field. Apparently around the 🌎.They won't even look for theirselves.

I read that and thought I wrote it myself. Huge hug. We will win!

Thank you! It means a lot.

I feel the same way most of the time. It boggles my mind that any government would ban the best nicotine replacement therapy ever invented. There's 0 deaths associated with nicotine vaping, yet they act like it's cocaine. There's no logic. In time, they'll learn, hopefully.

Pray that it will be all clear from now on, and pretty confident it will be. Big hugs.

It is fabulous that your doctor changed his opinion, which is based on evidence. I wish I had your doctor, as mine is a dinosaur. But at least I know I am winning, big time! Sometimes I feel I am bashing my head against a brick wall. Which is weird, as I know I am winning.

I got to watch my doctor's attitude on vaping change. It started as "vaping is just like smoking, and if you keep smoking, the polyps are coming back." And changed to, "keep vaping if it keeps you from smoking cigarettes. Do whatever you need to not smoke cigarettes."

That's fabulous news! Colon cancer is insidious. And to think vaping saved you - OMG. Over the top!

I've been vaping for 8.5 years after smoking for 18 years. The improvement in my health has been huge. My GI said vaping saved me from colon cancer. I had large precancerous polyps in my colon, from tar from smoking. Had them removed and have been rechecked 3 times, all clear.
