UFC Holds White House Fight Event on Trump's 80th Birthday
A UFC fighting event took place at the White House on Sunday. It was held on Trump's 80th birthday.
The event was called UFC Freedom 250. It was also part of America 250 which marks 250 years of the United States.
Seven fights took place inside a large temporary octagon on the South Lawn. Over 4,000 people watched from the lawn including 1,000 military members.
Another 120,000 lottery winners watched from a nearby area called the Ellipse. The event was streamed on Paramount .
Two Virginia residents tried to cancel the event in court. But a judge said no on Friday.
The UFC said it would pay fighters bonuses in crypto currency issued by World Liberty Financial. World Liberty Financial is a Trump family business. Some fighters got those bonuses at the event on Sunday.

US Order Forces Anthropic to Pull AI Models Globally
AI company Anthropic shut down two advanced AI tools on Friday. The tools are called Fable 5 and Mythos 5.
The US government ordered Anthropic to block foreign users from accessing them. The government cited national security concerns.
Anthropic said checking users' nationality was not practical. So the company shut down both tools for all users worldwide.
Anthropic had released Fable 5 to the public earlier this week. That release sparked concerns about cybersecurity and hacking.
Those concerns led to the suspension. Anthropic criticized the order.
It said the hacking concern was narrow. It also said other public AI tools like GPT-5.5 have the same ability. Sources say this appears to be the first time a major AI company has taken a public AI tool offline due to a government order.
