Pul Gate पूल गेट is the name of an area in #Pune Police posts in Pune were suffixed with word gate and they became landmarks by which an area was known. Earlier,machines at the school were run on a huge steam engine that transmitted the drive over a long overhead shaft. Wheels mounted on the shaft were connected to machines below via belts to drive the machines. The school is included in the #Heritage list #KnowPune

Do you know of the Jogeshwari in at the Juna Kalbharav Temple, Bhoi Alee in Kasba Peth. The area is among the oldest inhabited areas in Pune going back 700-800 yrs. The Tambdi, KaaLee and Pivli Jogeshwari are the other Jogeshwari temples in the city. #KnowPune
