AI doesn’t make us dumber.
It just shortens the distance between question and clarity.
You could spend an hour with ten PDFs and a dozen browser tabs…
…or 60 seconds with a sharp model and a sharper prompt.
That’s not dumbing down.
That’s compressing entropy.
And yes - the real loss of critical thinking started long before AI.
It began the day students stopped asking “why” and started asking “will this be on the exam?”
