Physical therapy has a supervision problem.
Exercises get prescribed. Patients go home. Nobody watches. Nobody corrects. Nobody catches the moment something goes wrong.
A team at @LAHacks 2026 built an iPhone app with three AI engines to fix that. All running on device. None sending data to a server.
The first reads your @Apple Health data and adjusts your exercises before you start. Bad sleep last night? Deep squats become chair-assisted squats. Decided by an on-device LLM running via Melange. No input from you required.
The second watches you move. Pose estimation running on the Apple Neural Engine via Melange and MediaPipe tracks your skeleton in real time. It counts your reps. It catches bad form. It corrects you. Your camera feed never leaves your phone.
The third watches for falls. If your hip displacement pattern looks dangerous it calls your physiotherapist automatically and offers a live video follow-up.
They built it for their grandparents.
The design constraint was simple: a 70-year-old with reading glasses should be able to use this without hesitation.
That constraint made it a better product for everyone.
Three engines. One iPhone. Zero cloud. Built in 36 hours.

@LAHacks 2026: la Agentic AI aterriza en UCLA y OmegaClaw hace su debut. Reunió a más de 1.000 participantes y mentores en Pauley Pavilion, UCLA, para aprender, construir e innovar sobre el stack de IA descentralizada de la @ASI_Alliance.
Este año, @fetch_ai_IL Innovation Lab lideró dos tracks paralelos:
Track 1: llevó el stack de @Fetch_ai, incluyendo ASI:One y Agentverse, directo a lxs hackers para construir agentes descubribles, interoperables y encadenables entre sí.
Track 2: marcó la primera presentación pública de OmegaClaw, el framework open-source neuro-simbólico de @SingularityNET.

Meet the winner of our Special Prize at @LAHacks: NorthStar 🌟
Vidhyuth Venugopal, Gene Iwasaki and Alexander Bonev used @Fetch_ai to build a multifunctional mobile app aiming to help hikers by detecting falls, checking in and calling help services if needed. The project so good we created an additional prize for it. Read more: devpost.com/software/northst…

Back from LAHacks, and genuinely grateful.
We had the chance to meet so many builders, watch teams go from idea to working products in hours, and feel the energy of people who genuinely love what they're building.
Seeing agents come to life right in front of us, that's why we do this.

This past weekend, we returned to @LAHacks to challenge students to build games focused on teaching skills in online well-being, safety, and civility.
Big congratulations to our Roblox Civility Challenge winners:
- 1st Place: Mindful Egg. An immersive dive into digital well-being and mental health.
- 2nd Place: Inbox Invader. Teaching players to spot scams, phishing, and malware through gameplay.
- 3rd Place: Overseer.exe. A creative approach to becoming an expert in digital literacy.

We had exciting challenges for hackers with our powerful stack including the use of OmegaClaw by @SingularityNET, agentverse.ai and asi1.ai together
Massive shoutout to the LA Hacks team for pulling off such an iconic event — y'all know how to run the show 🙌
And to the hackers? Y'all are absolutely GOATED ✨ 125 projects submitted to Fetch.ai track plus 350 agents gone live on agentverse in one weekend and this shows real utility and adaptation of what fetch.ai is building 🔥🔥
