Celebrating #WorldWetlandsDay! WILDTRUST is proud to be part of the IKI Living Lakes Biodiversity & Climate Change Project (LLBCP) Network where various countries around the world come together to protect, conserve and highlight the importance of lakes and wetlands.

Today @ARCOSNetwork officially launched tree planting around the Koko River buffers zone from Gisiza center to Lake Kivu @RutsiroDistrict under the support of @FGlobalNature through LLBCP Project @LivingLakesNet, over 10 trees species including exotic &indigenous will be planted.

Under the support of @FGlobalNature through the @LivingLakesNet @ARCOSNetwork field staff conducted a field visit to Lake Kivu buffer zone @RutsiroDistrict for assessing how the #LLBCP can contribute to the protection of it's buffer zone through planting of diverse of trees.

1/2: In partnership with @ARCOSNetwork, through its project #LLBCP under fund of #GNF/#IKI, the farmers of #Rutsiro are happy with their satisfying vegetables produce on created radical terraces in Gihango sector, Teba Cell.
