🐾🚨 UNDER KILL COMMAND — Hughie (NYCACC) 🐶💕 This cute 3-year-old boy is healthy, friendly with staff, and a good leash-walker! 💕 He’s neutral with other dogs, loves giving paw, and has really warmed up — he now initiates cuddling and leans in for pets. His friends at ACC say he’s a sweet, social guy who performs sit, lay down, and paw for treats. Hughie came in as a stray in mid-April. He’s been very stressed in his kennel — slamming into the door, chewing his bed frame, and not wanting to return. He arrived fearful but has made great progress with staff. He shows some on-leash and barrier frustration, which is common for dogs in this environment. He needs time to decompress in a calm home. He would do best in an experienced adult-only home (Level 4) with patient adopters who can give him structure and gentle guidance.
