It’s especially important that when we have panels on accessibility and disability and when we plan things for libraries, we include Disabled, d/Deaf, and blind people and don’t just speak for. #libraryaccessibility
And if your community has more than one language spoken in it, be sure to have your signs in that language as well, or use images. #libraryaccessibility.
If you have heavy interior doors, be sure to prop them open. (Big issue with library conferences I’ve attended.)
Have large abundant signage in a dyslexia-friendly font so those that prefer not to interact can help themselves. #libraryaccessibility
If you have a computer lab, make sure one of the computers is set up with large icons.
