The IIHS Library holds a quarterly exhibition at its Bengaluru City Campus, and focusses on a particular city or theme. This quarter, we invite you to a curated collection that explores Dalit voices and narratives through literature, memoirs, poetry, and political writing—as part of Dalit History Month.
From canonical works to contemporary reflections, these texts speak of resistance and resilience, of everyday lives shaped by caste and communities shaped in defiance of it. This exhibition foregrounds authors who have used the written word to reclaim space, challenge silence, and affirm dignity. Whether you are encountering these works for the first time or returning to them with new questions, we invite you to pause, read, reflect—and carry these voices with you.
