The apse ceiling in Rhodes College's Paul Barret Library shows the night sky from Jan 1, 1849โthe collegeโs first day of classes at its original Clarksville location! ๐ The moon was painted by John Canning Studios, and the stars are real gilded cut-outs glued to the ceiling. It's a beautiful blend of astronomy and artistry honoring Rhodesโ historic beginnings!
