We are thrilled to share the highlights of our Y’ello Care 2024 campaign! This year, our focus is on education, a powerful tool for shaping destinies and building resilient communities. Our Marketing and Fintech teams recently visited Nchute Primary School, where they provided financial and digital literacy training to over 100 women in the community. They also engaged parents in conversations about the crucial role of education for every child and its lasting impact on future generations. Plus, they rolled up their sleeves to help rehabilitate the school, creating a more vibrant and welcoming learning environment. We also partnered with Lifeline Childline to educate the women on basic human rights, gender-based violence, child abuse, and sexual harassment. They shared important toll-free numbers (116 and 993) for community members to reach counsellors.
