Had the best time w/ Gr 3s @hnojces catching Pokemon! Ss used the tiles as a grid today to code a path to catch a Pokemon of their choice. Ss worked on 1/4 & 1/2 turns cw & ccw ππ. Some Ss found multiple paths & analyzed efficiency too! Great work #littlecoders! @hwcdsbmathk8

Mrs Nicolazzo's Gr 3s @stfxces practiced measuring & calculating perimeter w/ #bluebots. They estimated how many steps each side length would be & then coded Blue to walk the perimeter. They even estimated perimeters around their friends! Great work #littlecoders! @hwcdsbmathk8

Gr 3s @stfxces coded #bluebots to save Santa π

I couldn't be more proud of the Gr 1 & 2 Ss @sttaces & their sci teacher, Miss K! Ss in Gr 2 animated the motion of simple machines. Gr 1s animated seasonal activities. Miss K let's them practice w/ prompt cards I created (on LMS) so they are super #littlecoders! π@HWCDSB #stem

Gr 4/5 @hnomces coded #microbits to play πͺ¨πβοΈ using variables & if/then. Ss edited the code to be π², spinners, & magic π± balls. Ss applied their code to play literacy board games & to tell me that I will be a millionaire! ππ΅π° Such fab #littlecoders! @HWCDSB @microbit_edu
