March 8 2026 - Covid-19 National Day of Reflection
We don't need the UK Government to nudge us into remembering the human carnage that ensued as a result of Lockdown, the catastrophic policy errors that led to the generational slaughter of care home residents and hospital patients.
We don't need reminding of the hundreds of thousands of elderly and disabled people who were denied access to medical care, including antibiotics, who were pumped with antipsychotics and sedatives to silence their screams, who were starved, dehydrated, and hastened to early graves along bogus 'end-of-life pathways'.
Nor do we need reminding of the barbarity of the care home and hospital visiting restrictions that denied the sick and vulnerable access to the love and care they needed. They were shut away, isolated from family, spouses, and friends, and cut off from their communities. These draconian policies crushed their human spirit, broke their hearts, and destroyed their will to live.
How could we possibly forget? Our loved ones were the collateral damage of these policy whims, and we still bear the scars of the horrific human suffering we witnessed.
Some of us will never bury the anger or shake off the trauma. But we will not allow our it to define us; we will channel it and let it drive our resolve.
#NEVERAGAIN will we sacrifice our freedoms in the name of keeping us 'safe' NEVER.
