Random mixed-case palletizing! 📦
Progressive Robotics launches AnyStack.
I met Fotis from
@ProgressiveRobo at LogiMAT in Stuttgart. Last time we talked, they were a software company. Now they're a product company.
They just introduced AnyStack, which is a turnkey solution for warehouses that handles inbound palletizing from floor-loaded freight and random mixed-case palletizing.
What's random mixed-case palletizing? Think of a robot playing 3D Tetris. Different box sizes, different weights, different destinations, all need to be stacked on pallets efficiently, densely, and stably.
This is the vertical integration playbook. Progressive Robotics realized that selling software alone meant depending on hardware partners, integration complexity, and shared margins.
Owning the full stack gives you control over the customer experience and the economics.
Random mixed-case palletizing is one of the hardest warehouse automation problems. Unlike uniform cases (same size boxes), mixed cases require real-time planning to optimize stability, density, and pallet utilization.
The robot needs to understand weight distribution, friction, center of mass, and stacking constraints.
Much success to Fotis and the Progressive Robotics team! 🇬🇷
