Random mixed-case palletizing! 📦 Progressive Robotics launches AnyStack. I met Fotis from @ProgressiveRobo at LogiMAT in Stuttgart. Last time we talked, they were a software company. Now they're a product company. They just introduced AnyStack, which is a turnkey solution for warehouses that handles inbound palletizing from floor-loaded freight and random mixed-case palletizing. What's random mixed-case palletizing? Think of a robot playing 3D Tetris. Different box sizes, different weights, different destinations,all need to be stacked on pallets efficiently, densely, and stably. This is the vertical integration playbook. Progressive Robotics realized that selling software alone meant depending on hardware partners, integration complexity, and shared margins. Owning the full stack gives you control over the customer experience and the economics. Random mixed-case palletizing is one of the hardest warehouse automation problems. Unlike uniform cases (same size boxes), mixed cases require real-time planning to optimize stability, density, and pallet utilization. The robot needs to understand weight distribution, friction, center of mass, and stacking constraints. Dexory launches a new generation of autonomous inventory scanning robots! During LogiMAT I had a chance to see them in action! Since 2023, @dexoryHQ has been deploying autonomous robots inside real warehouses, focused on one core problem that is inventory visibility. Knowing exactly what is where, in real time, is still surprisingly hard at scale. The new generation pushes that further, mainly through sensing and data capture. The biggest upgrade is the scanning range, now reaching up to ~60 feet (previously ~40). From an operational point of view, the system is designed to run continuously in live environments. The robot moves through the warehouse alongside people and forklifts, collecting data without interrupting workflows. That data feeds directly into DexoryView, their digital twin platform, which maintains a live representation of the facility. It’s a good example of what actually scales in robotics. What I'm really impressed of is the high precision positioning of pallets directly next to the truck or container wall.
