That’s a wrap on an amazing weekend celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first Brighton ‘Gay Pride march’. In the year we received a heartfelt apology to the LGBTQ community from Chief Constable Jo Shiner on behalf of Sussex Police for “historical prejudice and ill-treatment”, we came, we protested and we celebrated the glorious rainbow family that makes up our LGBTQ community.
