🔴INFO/RAC will participate in the Third Annual Stocktaking Meeting of the MedProgramme, which will take place from April 8 to 10 in Istanbul. This year’s theme, “The MedProgramme: Greater than the Sum of its Parts” will guide the discussions.

📢 On 26 March 2025, MedWaves and the National Environment Agency of Albania organized the workshop “Persistent Organic Pollutants in Firefighting Foams: Safe Alternatives to Toxic Chemicals” in Tirana 🇦🇱 under the GEF/UNEP Mediterranean Sea Programme (#MedProgramme).

On 26 Mar 2025, experts met in Tirana, #Albania, to discuss phasing out toxic #PFAS in #firefighting foams under the #StockholmConvention. The workshop, held under the #MedProgramme, shared updates on BRS, EU, waste mgmt & safer alternatives. Hosted by @MedWaves & Albania’s NEA.
