A5: I found great research that I am excited to share that explains that both are necessary! PBIS serves as the proactive means to behavior, and restorative practices become the calm and sense-making response to behaviors. #MESHackingSD #WarriorsCreate #HandInHand

Last year in a convo with two girls, I had each one share their point of view in the moment, ensuring that each listened to the other. Then asked if they could understand how the other person could feel that way. The girls saw each others POV and moved on #MESHackingSD

A5: Ss usually reflect on a time when they were able to get along with the S they are currently involved with in a conflict. A strong school culture makes this possible. When it involves a parent phone call & I can say these Ss are typically friends, it helps. #MESHackingSD
