All the people with 'brains' can work this stuff out, but it seems the Restore Mob have been so brainwashed they think they can win this seat! Newsflash, you cannot, so you are giving it to Andy in the most import by by election for decades. But I am hopeful the people on Mackerfield, even those in the Tory and Labour Dems, will vote tactically to keep Andy out of number 10, even if the so-called patriotic party is working against them and us! Reality check is coming on Friday!

Burnham is standing so he can stop Labour from a catastrophic defeat in the next GE.
If he or anyone else wins without majority support, then voters in Mackerfield lost.
Why do voters have to be involved with internal power dynamics?
Add a veto option on ballots. If a majority choose it, the election is rerun.
Let voters lead, not political parties.
