The A-10 #WARTHOG has certainly SAVED a LOT of #MilitaryLives... yet the @AirForce wants to #replace it with a high-#stealth plane with yet more #BellsAndWhistles, the development of which has ALREADY COST US $240 BILLION! NO, really. Oddly enough, we DON'T hear of #PilotsComplaints (or even #RepairCrew) about the #HOG... but a few #GENERALS seem to WANT THEIR #TopLevel #TOYS no matter what it COSTS those of us who actually PAY FOR IT! Meanwhile, weighing over 4,000 lbs (fully-loaded), the WARTHOG carries every type of #weapon a #FighterPlane could want/need and can manage close-encounter excursions... although HOW our #FantasticPilots manage to scurry in and out of tight spots with multiple #aircraft in the skies is incredible. I'm shocked to have heard a narrator say "It won't win any #BeautyContests, when the fact of the matter is that the #HOG is a #MagnificentMachine.
